In 1780, Birminghams Jewellery Quarter had 26 jewellers at the time. By 1887, the Birmingham Jewellers and Silversmith Association had been established and the industry continued to grow as it thrived through the 1st World War. Jewellers can offer many services, including selling a range of jewellery, cleaning and repair services, engravings, jewellery design and valuation just to name a few.
Although now this Quarter is also known just as well for development of creative businesses, it is still undisputed as one of the finest areas of jewellers in the UK.
